With Service Pack 5 (Update to 7.0 build 75 - previous service packs are contained), the following changes become effective:

General:

  • OSEK-TP works now with multiple channels.
  • CAPL object syntax can be used for given classes, especially in the areas Test Service Library, Diagnostics and IP programming.
  • Instead of a .NET source file you may also specify a Visual Studio solution at a node.
  • The Numeric Up/Down control of the Panle Designer now supports floating point values.
  • Improved administration of CANoe RT computers and accelerated update to new program versions.
  • CANoe supports the direct import of log files (*.clf) of the GIN data loggers in offline mode, during Trace import and for the logging exporter. The bus systems CAN, LIN and FlexRay are supported.

Test Feature Set/Diagnostic Feature Set:

  • CANoe can access Vector's VT System to control ECU I/O lines. The Load and Measurement Module VT1004 and the Stimulation Module VT2004 are supported.
  • Reporting of diagnostic objects is now part of the sequence of test steps.
  • PDX diagnostic descriptions can be used now with CANoe-RT.
  • Test Automation Editor can be opened now also from CANoe run/pex.

FlexRay:

  • The FIBEX Explorer Pro supports the possibility to create and edit FIBEX communication elements (Cluster, ECU, Controller, Frames and Signals) in an easy and straightforward way. The tool will be delivered together with CANoe pro .FlexRay. All other CANoe variants use the FIBEX Explorer view.
  • The Online Help for the Test Feature Set FlexRay has been integrated.
  • Trace window: The send node column shows now the right send node also in case of cycle multiplexing in the dynamic part.

MOST:

  • XML Testmodules: Only response messages with the length as specified in the attribute TelLen resolve the wait condition of the RequestResponse test pattern.
  • AMS: Processing of Spy-Messages with Nack-Flag set CMS Messages with active Nack-Flag will be ignored by the AMS combiner. AMS messages which are received after a number of Low Level Retries now get a more realistic timestamp.
